Over the past 2 years, since being introduced to Bridlington Motor Auctions, I have purchased approximately 16 cars from there. These consisted of 2 that were clearly listed as non-runners and not driven through the auction. 4 of them still remain within the family and driven daily. 1 has been driven to the south of France and now used as a holiday car "MGF soft top". The remaining 10 or so have cost me no more than £400 each for servicing/repairs or any other works needed for a new MOT - and lets be honest at your local garage that "we all use" you don't get much change from £250 for a single brake caliper and pads. Tuesdays are my favourite day of the week either if I'm at home following the auction online or actually at the auction during the summer evenings. Great auction, great bargains at a fair price. Girls in the office & drivers are always happy and available to help. But after all recent bad reviews an auction is an auction - we all go for a bargain! Hopefully everyone gets lucky and gets what they expected for the money they paid or I must be just one of the lucky ones. Happy Christmas to all the team, wishing you all the best in 2026. I agree with the 1 star comments about bridlington auction buying cars from G3. I use to buy from here up till 2 years ago and i changed to G3 and have seen so many of these drivers collecting cars. However its 1 rule for bridlington auction another for others. I use to take cars in part ex that were in locked into trade, when i put them in bridlington auction to sell why was my cars not listed as DIRECT ? makes no sense that bridlington auction can put the cars they buy into their own auction as direct, Yes it is misleading to others i agree with the comments. But us traders who sell them in their auction are not allowed to have them as direct. They are effectively the same situation cars locked into trade coming in part ex then sent to bridlington motor auction but we use to look like private sellers as we were not allowed to have direct on our cars. It seems its a definite 1 rule for bridlington auction and 1 for other traders. having read the comments by bridlington auction its simply a load of. All about been greedy, bridlington motor auction has become to make as much money as possible. They are losing confiedence by the sounds of it with both private & traders. If they are trying to fill stock then its clear even the main stream dealers dont want to put their cars in there. Like other Dealers have said who used to use these they are struggling big time and maybe 2026 could be the big black hole for them unless they change their ways. There is nothing with leaving honest reviews as people do the game is hard enough in this day in age. SR Motors

Having dealt with BMA for over 30 years I cannot fault Gerrard and his helpful staff. I have bought many cars over the years and yes now and again you get a bad one,law of averages I suppose, but the majority are fine. Keep up the good work.

As a local motor trader i can not recommend Bridlington Motor Auctions enough. Unlike lots of other auction houses there fee's are still very fair. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. The variety of cars, vans, caravans, bikes and everything else is constantly changing.
