Humber Primary Care

Excellent service from HPC today. This was the first time I have had to attend the practice, but it certainly exceeded expectations. The gentleman on reception and the nurse that I visited for my appointment were both friendly and efficient. Thank you!

I have been at this surgery for a week. And already they have gone above and beyond to make my appointments accessible and fit around others that are also important. Lovely reception staff. Prescriptions done quickly. I'm very impressed!

Short staffed, unreliable, causes more anxiety and stress than when I contacted them. Every time I need them they let me down, every single time. :( A simple task of getting a prescription of tablets i've had previous seems to require a wait to speak with a doctor in two weeks. Humber Primary without the care.

I called the number for Manor House as shown on the website to enquire about parking as I was getting conflicting reports that there had been a change in that you now needed to use your mobile phone to ‘register’ & avoid being clamped. I was immediately let into a long automated message that gave me four options none of which were appropriate. I hung on the phone expecting to be transferred to someone in reception at Manor House but instead, after a wait of about 20 seconds, a second automated voice came on & in a ‘cheery voice’ said “Your call cannot be transferred. Thank you”, & the line went dead. Given the large percentage of patients in Humber Primary Care will be over pension age, one would think HPC might consider a more appropriate way to deal with its patients.

The worst surgery in Primary Care I have ever encountered in my life either as a patient or in my NHS career. Avoid this place AT ALL COSTS. Ignorant and unprofessional staff, don't care whatsoever about patient needs or completely unwilling to help. I had to call from Spain at a cost to me of nearly 20€, regarding my father, yet after almost 25-30 minutes of being on-hold by the coldest telephone system you could introduce as soon as I gave my name the receptionist PURPOSEFULLY cut the call.
