Terrible service, charged me twice then it takes days to refund, £45 upfront for a change, that's if it works ! And when you get the app it's gone from £1 to add a payment card to £20, next car will be a petrol, first and last EV To instavolts reply, I got the app, and I emailed you, you stopped my charge because you didn't ask for payment authentication so the bank logged it as fraudulent, you then charged me £20 to add a new bank card and refunded the money days later, I emailed and asked to pay the 13.95 for the failed payment, your fault for not asking my bank to authorise it but you made me pay it in the app and refused to let me pay it directly to you, shambles of a company
2 chargers plenty of space to park anyway you wish!
Visited off peak, so got the 54p rate via the InstaVolt app, I charged from 45% to 90% at a peak of 95kw, weather was also cold and battery wasn't pre conditioned, so about what I expected.
Be careful of using these charging points if there is a queue waiting to use them. You need to take into account that have one hour maximum on the site, I have just received a Parking Charge, I charged my car for 48 minutes but due to waiting to use the chargers as they were both in use when I arrived, I exceeded the maximum one hour stay for the car park. If it was not for this parking charge I would happily have given five star rating. Perhaps the Instavolt App can include this, and inform the Mobility Go Card operators as well. I have unsuccessfully appealed this charge. I was on site for over an hour so it does not matter I was charging my car. DOES THST MEAN I CAN PARK IN A CHARGING BAY WITH NO COMEBACK, FINE ETC. Annoyed is an understatement
The charger claimed to be 160kW but was only charging at 90kW during our visit. It's also very expensive as the only fast charger in Bridlington. Beware, you can only park for 1 hour in the co-op carpark where the charger is located and numberplate technology is in use.
