I took my van to Settle's Tyres and Auto Centre, a MAXXIS dealer tucked away in Bridlington, and left wondering why places like this aren’t the national standard. The brief was simple: four tyres. The reality, as ever with vehicles, was not. I’d managed to buy the wrong size. A lesser outfit would have sucked air through teeth, blamed the customer, and invoiced me for the privilege. Not here. They caught the issue immediately. No drama. No lecture. Just competence. Rather than sending me away or forcing a reorder, he calmly said, “Don’t worry , I’ve got the correct size on the shelf.” Not only that, they were better tyres at the same price, and could be fitted the same day. That sentence alone should be printed on banners and hung outside every tyre chain in Britain, flags optional. For context: Kwik Fit money would have bought me two tyres. Here, I got four. Correct ones. Better ones. Fitted properly. Same day. End of story. The work was fast, clean, and confidence-inspiring , no upselling, no nonsense, no corporate script, yeah that good! If the modern motor industry had more places like this, drivers would complain a lot less and trust a lot more. I’d give Settle’s six stars if I could. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a great service. My daughter’s car failed its MOT. I contacted these guys and they told us to take it to them the following day, ( Friday ) today ( Monday ) my daughter has her car back in the road. Work all done and MOT corrected. The customer care & service we received here was second to none. We had a very slow puncture which they attempted to fix, however due to the angle that the nail had gone in meant that this was unsuccsessful. We agreed for them to fit us a new tyre which was done quickly and efficiently and at a very good price. We highly recommend this place. (Our van was taken in on 18th November and we were seen and gone within the hour). Thank you Paul and your team.

Great service from Paul and the team. Nipped in on Thursday because I thought my tyres might need changing. Paul immediately, looked at me with disappointment and said he didn't even need to bend down to look, I definitely needed new tyres 🙈 within a few mins a had three choices of tyre to choose from and was booked in for the following day. Popped back on the Friday and it took the team 15mins to change my tyres while I waited. Excellent, friendly service!!!

Got in my car this morning to find the tyre completely flat. Took a walk to Settles just to see if there was anything they could do. The owner Paul, was super friendly and helpful, got my car in and out within 10 mins. Couldn't have been more helpful, super grateful! Great prices too.
