Pharmacy+Health - Bridlington

Courtney could not have been more helpful this afternoon. The script for my grandsons antibiotics due to a chest infection had not come through from the GP in Hull. We tried calling the surgery without success. We did not want my grandson to get worse and go through the weekend without the antibiotics. Courtney suggested we try the emergency care department within Bridlington hospital as they have a paediatrician on duty. Just as we sat in the waiting area Courtney called me to say the script had finally come through to the pharmacy. We rushed round before closing time and successfully collected the meds. Thank you to all the staff and Courtney for their caring attitude and excellent customer service.

Booked ear wax removal service online, got several emails reminding me of my appointment and when I turned up there was no one to do it because they hadn’t notified the online system they would not be here! Very professional! Doesn’t give you much confidence in anything they do.

Recently went for ear syringe as I was having trouble with my heat aids Was told they didn’t need doing Went to audiologist and was told both ears were nearly blocked Booked elsewhere for ear syringe shown before and after pictures Also asked questions about my health etc which wasn’t done at Old TownCould not believe the state of my ears This is the second time I have had trouble at Old town Pharmacy Extremely disappointed with care and consideration to patient well being Have changed pharmacy

Appalling service. My disabled 80 year old mum had to pay £60+ for her prescriptions to be delivered for 12 months. As if that's not bad enough, Without fail, she has to call and call every month to see why her medication hasn't been delivered as after TWO WEEKS and running out of essential medicines, they still can't manage to deliver. She's had to go in and pick it up on several occasions . No one answers the phone, and they make excuses when she finally gets through and promise to deliver that day only for it not to arrive yet again. I moved her to Marton road pharmacy before the 12 month delivery payment ran out as it was too stressful every month and constantly running out of medication.... the prescription was delivered in 24hours! Whoever is responsible for this pharmacy should be embarrassed and refund my mother's delivery payment.

Very unprofessional experience from the pharmacist himself. Doctor issued me with a prescription for Vertigo on a Friday afternoon. I was told it wouldn't be ready until Monday. I am sure with a bit of good will he could have pushed it through but NO compassion from his side so I was left without medication all weekend. Will definitely not be using this pharmacy again.
