National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

Not my usual garage but unfortunately the one i had my mot booked at had an issue and had to cancel, booked at national as i had a free mot via halfords. Took my car for an MOT, it failed which is fine it was an easy fix, told my tires were near the legal minimum also. Asked the garage what the exact issue was they couldn't tell me but said they needed to order parts and couldn't do anything until next week, didn't want to answer any of my questions about the advisories and just told me to come back for a retest. Took it to another garage closer to home to fix the issue which took 30 mins and didn't require any new parts and get a new MOT, to be then told my tyres are absolutely fine and well above the threshold. As someone else has said I feel like they've seen a younger female and thought I wouldn't know anything about my own car. Honestly wouldn't trust these guys with a pushbike and will never use again.

Twice I’ve used these lads in an emergency. Managed to get my car sorted both times and the cost of the work is comparable to other places as I’ve checked! Where I lived before I always used Bush tyres for all my tyre stuff but now I’ve moved to Bridlington I’m using these guys exclusively.

I booked an MOT on line, got an appointment that suited me. On arrival I asked how long it would be. We wanted to visit Lidl which is nearby. Got a call when the car was ready, just finished the shopping, all went very well, the vehicle was ready, no hassle and clear explanation of things about the car by the mechanic.

This centre is well run by friendly, helpful and efficient staff. They explained everything clearly and completed the work on time and proficiently. The two front tyres were good value especially when ordered online as there was an additional discount. Booking was extremely easy and there was good availability. The whole process was seamless and hassle free.

I was extremely happy with their service. My MOT was about to expire so I ask them to fix a tyre puncture and to do my MOT test. And they were very helpful and friendly. I strongly recomand!
