Drove to Bridlington from Medomsley County Durham yesterday 14th October 25 specifically to visit this beautiful, quaint and lovely shop..only to discover it had closed down. I was absolutely gutted. I was after some lovely tea towels and bath towels and had £50-100 to spend.Such a terrible shame this shop is no longer. Last of its kind.Good luck to tha staff and hopefully someone with reopen this fantastic shop.Kevin king

A step back in time. This is a time capsule shop dating back to 1901. The shop has been through 3 generations of the same family. True personal customer service. We bought hand towels and had a lovely browse. Certainly worth a visit!

A shop frozen in time and absolute pleasure to shop at. The staff were so helpful. So sad it has closed we'll never see the likes of it again.

I found this shop by chance as we were visiting bridlington and wow what a little find it was I was absolutely mesmerised by how it has hardly changed in all those years I got a proper little handkerchief and an apron for my grandaughter such a shame its closing xxx
