This place was disgusting we booked for 3 nights struggled to manage , the smell when you walked into reception was vile and to be greated by a large man in a black tee shirt (i think it was black) that was absolutely filthy. Only good thing i can say is the room was warm but that really is it.
Lovely place to stay, great location short walk into bird, felt relaxed. Good breakfast, good facilities and great value for money. Stayed several time will always come bank
Would definitely not go to this place again, it is dirty, walked into what thought was reception couldn’t move for clutter, got shown to room where it was a tight squeeze to get in the bathroom as door does not go right back to wall. Breakfast was supposed to be 8-30 to 9-30 the proprietor came down the stairs 8-50 to start cooking, I hate to think what all the stains were down his t- shirt he was disgusting, still half asleep, finally got breakfast only for sausage still raw & snotty eggs. The dining room was an absolute disgrace.Only booked 2 nights but needless to say didn’t have breakfast 2nd day couldn’t wait to get out of the place.
A very low budget set up. Looks okay from outside, but once inside it's just a bodged dump. Room size is good, furniture looks to be from a skip ,bathroom OK, shower excellent. Breakfast room is via owners dark lounge ,including dog. Breakfast is cereal ,toast and a huge greasy Full Engish. Don't think cleaner knows where mop is as floor is very sticky!!! Parking is a lottery 1st night we were 1/2 Mike away and this was a wet weekend in November.
We are loving it here! We want for nothing! Our room is warm, comfy, quiet and clean. The shower is powerful and there's plenty of hot water. Wifi is free, and there are plenty of plug sockets.There is everything you need to make a hot drink, and there's crockery/cutlery, fridge and microwave. The full English breakfast was well cooked and generous. Super helpful hosts too! In other words 5*
