The Hollies B&B

Highly recommended guest house. We stayed in Room One, which was spacious, very comfortable, and decorated to a high standard. It was spotlessly clean and extremely well maintained. The guest house is within easy walking distance of all of Bridlington’s amenities. We had no issues with on-street parking — our hosts arranged the necessary permit before our arrival, allowing us to park up and enjoy the day in Bridlington before checking in. Lovely hosts — we would definitely book again.

I wanted to take my girls away during the summer holidays and wanted to go somewhere I hadn't been before. I decided I'd try East Yorkshire as there was plenty for my young children to be occupied by. While searching for guest houses/B&B's I came across 'The Hollies'. The location looked perfect and the photo's looked ideal so I booked....and what a brilliant choice I made! I arrived mid afternoon and there was plenty of on street parking (you get a permit on arrival). The house is beautiful and inviting and you could tell you weren't a million miles from the sea front. Phil and Sara answered the door and showed me to my room, gave me a flask with fresh milk in and walked me through the shower procedure etc. They gave me my keys (for both locks for the front doors) and explained that there was no need to worry about what time we came in or out and then left us to our own devices. The room I got (room 2) was beautiful and comfortable. Separate Seating area and a local paper. Tea making facilities were superb and my children and I were very happy. I couldn't recommend this little gem enough and will definitely be back. It's location as I'd guessed was perfect - 5 minutes from town one way and 5 minutes from the sea front the other. Very enjoyable stay and can't wait to go back!

This place is run by a lovely couple. We had a ground floor room with en-suite. The room itself while not large was more than large enough, very comfortable and very clean. Free parking is provided. No meals were available but that's partly why we chose it, as for us it was a weekend away and we'd planned to go for a meal. The price was more than reasonable all things considered and it's less than five minutes from the sea front. Would we stay there again? Absolutely.

We stayed at The Hollies over the weekend. The rooms are very spacious and clean and comfortable, and only a short walk into the centre. Sarah and her husband are the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. We enjoyed it that much we have booked for the same weekend next year.
