Park View Guest House

Booked a room for a friend’s wedding. On booking.com drove nearly 3 hours to get there to find the place shut and locked up after speaking to the neighbours found the pace had been closed over a month. Leaving myself and my daughter with nowhere to sleep. And I had received confirmation emails about the booking

Excellent guest house. Great location near the North Beach end, spotlessly clean, lovely comfortable rooms.

The place was closed down and we had to return home. It ruined our Bank Holiday weekend booking was from 3rd May 2025 to 5th May 2025. Beware they still take your money! We are now trying to get our money back, they only took the payment today 7th May 2025 absolutely disgusting. Booking.com where we booked it do not appear to care and still have the hotel listed!!

Nice clean room, but unfortunately the water pressure was very poor so it took 5 mins to fill the kettle trying to get washed was difficult, the shower you had to run around what little space there was to get wet, the toilet was either blocked or something else wrong with it as it took ages to drain, the room was very cold and after several message to let them know with answers, they were quick to let us know we could not park at the front of the Hotel but when had some questions about the room no one would answer, i would not stop here again, but as the saying goes buy cheap expect cheap, so all in all very disappointed in the service, hence this poor review.

Absolutely loved this place. They were extremely accommodating. Lovely room and very clean. Great location. The host Tara was an absolute star.
