Shearwater Guest House Book Direct For Our Best Prices

We booked a room for a festival. The owner spent 10 minutes explaining how the breakfast menu worked, but didn’t once mention that we couldn’t make any noise through the day. We played some music, made a little bit of noise at 2PM before we set off to the festival. The owner then came up to tell us to keep it down, which we did after that point. We then get a call 3 hours later, saying that they are leaving our stuff in black bags in the pouring rain due to customers leaving because of us. We came back to collect our things and explained that if we were informed that we had to be quiet through the day, we would’ve stuck to that, at which point he became confrontational and got in my face shouting that we shouldn’t be making noise in the first place. I’m disgusted with this place, and because they’re selling the property they do not care about how they treat people. Do not go her, atleast until they have new ownership, as you will break rules that weren’t outlined, and be left homeless for the weekend, as we were.

For a guest house it was cosy and welcoming. Free parking is provided and breakfast served in the room. I'd have preferred to dine separate to the room but it was no problem, as I only stopped for two nights. It is in a nice quiet area and surprisingly only a five to ten minute walk from the town centre. I would stay again without hesitation.

We loved our stay. A lovely, friendly welcome, our room was spotless. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfortable, I had the best night's sleep ever. It's a lovely, quiet hotel and the owners, Angela and Richard could not possibly be more. accommodating.

Currently staying at the shearwater hotel in room 2. The hotel is in a great location near to promenade and shops. Room is clean and cleaned everyday and leave extra treats biscuits and replenish coffee, Tea etc. breakfast is served in your room and the room has table and chairs in. Great choice of food hot/cold. Lovely hotel definitely will be returning on the next visit to Bridlington.

We've just returned home from our lovely stay in Bridlington and this Guest House is one of the jewels in the Crown of Brid. The owners were so helpful and accommodating and we had a beautiful full English breakfast served every morning with fresh farm eggs. We will certainly return. It was lovely! 💝💝💝Peter & Luke
