The Mon Fort

Enjoyed our 2 night weekend stay here (end of September). Great hospitality from greeting us to departure. Would certainly stay again if stopping over in Brid.

We stayed here for a few days for a birthday getaway, there is lots of street parking around, Jane registered us and it was a minimal charge for the stay, the hotel is a lovely building full of character and tastefully decorated, we stayed in Room 11 right at the top in the original part of the house, garden view and really nice room, breakfast was perfect, Tim & Jane are really friendly, the bar was open on the Friday, we sat outside and chilled, they also have a big bar area inside and a cosy snug to sit in , really clean, no excess noise from outside, loved our stay here and will definitely return, it is a short walk to the beach, pubs and harbour also & a short drive to Scarbourough, Bempton Cliffs etc.

This is a real find. A great location, a short walk to the beach and a host of places to eat and drink. Tim and Jane are great hosts and keep Mon Fort spotless. The room we had was spacious, clean and well equipped. A comfy bed and a great breakfast. Can't fault it..or Tim and Jane. We'll be back

Me and my husband have just returned home from an impromptu stay and wasn't disappointed at all. I'm not a fan of places that allow dogs but The Mont Fort is definitely the exception. We stayed in a room that dogs are allowed and I have to say it was exceptionally clean, I didn't need to take an antihistamine and I felt fine......not like some places I've stayed before. For the price, the rooms are fantastic and the breakfast 😋 well it takes some beating. We will definitely be booking again!!!!!

Very welcoming, helpful and friendly definitely recommend amazing with the dogs it’s like a home away from home. The room was perfect very spacious and homely. Location was perfect just a stones throw from the beach. Will definitely be back next year!
