Took 7 of us out for Dinner at 'Salt on the Harbour'. Friendly welcome from the start. Nice table overlooking the Harbour. The food was excellent. Whitebait and Calamari Starters to Share. Mains: Lobster Thermidor, Mussels, Prawn Linguine x2, Crab and Rocotta Ravioli x2 and Seafood Chowder (Me). All exceptionally well presented and served, all delicious. Two nice Lagers on Draught, good Wine and Drinks List. The service throught, from all the staff, was excellent. 10/10 Will be back.
We dropped in here today as alot in the town centre were closed and now glad they was. We will eat here again. Great view especially on a snow day! Good menu choice Great beer choice even though its dry Jan!! Was a good atmosphere and everyone enjoyed there fish and chips. You might think £18.95 is expensive but if there nice whats it matter?
My husband and I have been several times to Salts but not for a while as the last two visits were disappointing. However we decided to give it another go and this time it was perfect. We enjoyed oysters which were delicious followed by moules frites which again were beautifully fresh and delicious and all served nicely. All accompanied by an excellent chilled bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. The service received from Elliott was excellent. He was friendly, efficient and professional and made our visit a little bit special. So pleased we decided to go again and the next time we will be able to go without the trepidation we felt this time. Thankyou for a lovely lunch Salts.
My husband and I stayed in Bridlington for the weekend and had an amazing meal at Salt on the Harbour. We had a dozen fresh Lindisfarne oysters that were delicious followed by a main of Haddock Fish & Chips. And a lovely bottle of white wine. We both agreed that the fish & chips was the best we’d ever had. The batter was so light and the fish so tasty! Everything delightful. The restaurant is in a great location overlooking the harbour and the service was perfect. I couldn’t recommend it more highly. Now back home in London I won’t find somewhere as brilliant as Salt on the Harbour here!
Our favourite restaurant and we’ve only been in the area four months! The menu always has a joyous choice and the food utterly delicious we can’t fault it. All needs catered for by such attentive friendly staff and the view whilst eating is a delight, day or night. Our last visit was Boxing Day with our sons, they loved the food and surroundings as much as we do. We’ll be back!
