The Brunswick Hotel is a great traditional cosy multi room pub. There is a good variety of beer and larger, including three hand pulled cask conditioned real ales which were in excellent condition when I visited. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, there is a separate games room with two pool tables and darts boards and the pub is dog friendly.

Can't comment on the rooms but the lady that served us tonight( Easter Sunday)never stops. Fantastic service with a smile and very friendly.I don't know what you are paying her but it probably isn't enough. A good pint of real ale and reasonable prices. The toilets were nice and clean and the place nicely done out.

Great location but dirty rooms very dated, carpet was disgusting, screws sticking out of bottom of shower cubicle - no wardrobe to hang clothes Window frames rotten, hole in floor behind one bed overall very very expensive at £90 a night and no breakfast definitely not worth the money, not suitable for disabled as all rooms up lots of stairs, would not return
