The Swallow Hotel

The Swallow on the outside may seem a little deceptive in its modest appearance but step through the door and you will find a different world. Wonderful warm greetings from owner and staff, lovely bright and very well presented comfortable bedroom and large shower, very tasty and well cooked breakfast with plenty options to choose from both traditional and healthy. Best of all they are very dog friendly and welcoming to our dog. Would I recommend it - most definitely. The quality and care exceeded a lot of the more modern well known chains I have stayed in over the years. Maureen

The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The breakfast was amazing too. The room was very spacious and well set out. It was extremely warm when we stayed here so we both slept on top of the covers, when I was tidying the room and bed before we left i noticed the bedlinen was dirty. At the top of the duvet cover that had been tucked under the pillows it looked to be makeup stained and smelt of perfume and not washed. In future I will check the bedding first whenever I go anywhere. Im just glad we slept on top of the bedding.

What a fabulous hotel. Gifty greeted us when we arrived she was so friendly and welcoming. The hotel was spotless and the rooms had everything you could have wanted for a comfortable stay. Wow what a breakfast !! Cooked to perfection and delivered to us by Sonia who had time for a chat and a laugh. Perfect weekend. We will definitely be returning.

Gifty, the lovely friendly owner greeted us on arrival and showed us to our room. The room was lovely and clean. Bed comfy and shower great. The breakfast next morning was absolutely first class. All the staff were friendly and chatty. Would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Stayed here overnight mid week , it was very convenient for the spa theatre for a show we was coming to see. When we arrived Gifty the owner welcomed us and told us where our room was, the room was very clean and tidy with a large bathroom. Slept good and the bed was comfortable, breakfast was lovely, the staff were very friendly, this hotel will be considered if we stay in Bridlington in the future.
