We have been regular visitors to this arcade for many years. We are very disappointed to see the cost of the Grand National increased to £2 a game. It doesn't make sense, for a game that probably takes a minute to run, it's just too expensive for a whole family to enjoy the fun. Mark (staff) does a brilliant job, but people only have a limited amount to spend, he can't make people play. At £1 a game people were waiting for a seat to become available, you're lucky to see 3 people playing at the moment. 3 x £2 doesn't equate to 18 x £1......I hope the management have a rethink before the summer season starts!
Been coming here for years. Grand National has increase by 100% from £1 to £2 for something that lasted less than a minute. Ridiculous increase and won't be returning unless it's reduced.
Was leaving this venue today, when a member of staff on the horse racing game shouted at me on his microphone "Take your Sunnies off, your inside now!". Well, I only have one eye due to an accident and its a mess to look at. Hence I wear my sunglasses to feel more self confident. I did not appreciate this comment at all. Think before you speak next time, embarrassment was not needed. If words of advice need to be conveyed to the employee, it was a young-ish very camp sounding, very loud male.
Always enjoy a day at the seaside, especially Bridlington. Often pop into this establishment. Used the 2p falls machines and got a few little packets of sweets that our granddaughter would enjoy. Horrified to discover sweets were best before October 2024.
I had been a customer here for over 25 years, I will not be returning again. Only 2 weeks ago we frequented here to find the food resonably priced. Today this changed, £4 for 8 doughnuts. Now I always bought food from here but shall not again. The cash machine inside used to be free of charge, today it is 1.85 Your greed on this occasion has lost you custom. I shall be telling my friends and family of your total lack of respect for your loyal customers just to earn a few extra quid in the school holidays.
