Been in Brid twice so far and amusement park was closed (off season), but you still can walk around attractions. It looks like fun place, lot of activities for kids, ice cream stands, beautiful views. Next time I am around I am defo going for wheel ride! Summer time here I come!
Plenty of rides for all age groups although some of the rides look like they’ve seen better days. I noticed a few of the children looking a bit small for some of the rides yet still being allowed on should this be down to the parents or ride operator, you could blame both? The rides aren’t grouped into specific suitability for the varied ages so you end up with a Waltzer next to a ride for a 3 year old. Our little one felt a bit overwhelmed by all the bigger kids running about. Pick a day when it’s not windy too as the wind really rips through you when it picks up. I’ve rated 4 stars due to the choice of rides but it could have been three.
We went there with my daughter, who was really very excited to try everything, but we ended only riding one thing as it felt very unsafe during the ride as the safety features were very old. Also, we bumped our heads during a lot of times, which gave us pain for a few hours.. I do not recommend anyone to use this park as it felt not looked after for the guests, especially for the young people.
A quick ride or two it's great (all be it not the safest, but that's part of the experience right) would plan on spending more than an hour or so there though. The people manning the rides seemed really nice but often looked pretty bored with not many people using the rides. Could do with improvement, but non the less a good addition to the seafront.
I mean there are some rides here which are good, such as Crazy Hopper, but the majority are old or don't run well. The worst thing about this is, with many other permanent funfairs, the operations... The workers have little to no care in operating the rides and often offer very short and boring cycles. In fact, once when I went there, one of the operators was literally playing their XBOX on the job.. they'd gone through the effort to bring their xbox into the operation cabin 😂. Yeah, its a good addition to Brid but don't expect it to compare to bigger travelling funfairs like the nearby Hull Fair
