Made a stop here to get out of the rain, during a walk along the canal. I think it might be a bit of a "locals pub". The barmaid was plenty friendly, and knew everybody- which was nice. Cozy on the inside with plenty of little spaces with real fires.

Love the place (when I do make it over that way!) Lovely friendly staff, the kind of place I feel happy and welcome having a pint alone after a long walk. Always some activity on and excellent love music. For me, best local traditional in Brighouse. Just need to visit more often πŸ˜†

Very welcoming and friendly. Traditional pub made a pleasant change to the usual gastro pubs.

Cracking real ale pub this, hardly changed over the years and has stuck to its principles of providing good quality ales at good prices, staff always friendly, sports regularly on TV, dog friendly pub with a nice sun trap of a terraced seating area outside, if your in the area this boozer is a must, keep up the good work guys.
