A wonderful coffee shop. Lovely staff and the food is gorgeous. The coffee is the best around and what l love more than anything is the warm friendly staff. Plus dogs are welcome so that's great too. I've been twice in one week having been recommended it by a friend. So glad to have found this local hidden gem.
Went in this morning for breakfast. Coffee was decent and arrived quickly. Full English was a very generous portion. Quality ingredients, but could have done with being served on a bigger plate or having a side plate for the toast. Unfortunately our visit was ruined by a woman who came and sat next to us. While ordering she spoke to other customers how ill her kids had been and now she had caught it from them. She'd been out running and her nose was also running like a blooming tap. She spent 10 minutes coughing, snooking up snot and wiping the drips from her nose onto her hand. In the end we left some of our food, paid the bill and left. Appreciate this is not the fault of the cafe! But if you're welcoming the running club in after their run, please give them some tissues.
Took a short detour from our journey along the M62 to visit Folk....I found them online and was able to make a short notice reservation. Service was great, food delicious and the coffee even better. We ate from the breakfast menu. 2 meals with coffee and juice, bill around £25 - so great value. Great to support local rather than battle through queues in services and would encourage others to do the same.
Amazing little coffee shop in the heart of Hove Edge village. I went past here over a year ago & got an Oat Milk Caramel Latte, it was the best Latte i have had & since then i haven't gone anywhere else for coffee if i have been local to Folk. The menu is great & very reasonably priced, everything is cooked fresh & the place is so clean & really well decorated. The buns, bakes & treats are amazing. I've tried all of them so far & i couldn't even pick a favourite. All of the staff are friendly & helpful, they remember my order always & make you feel really welcomed when visiting. I'd definitely recommend this place.
First visit and was very impressed. The ladies there are lovely and the decor is super cute. All the food we had was delicious. Especially the special apple and cinnamon pancakes. My other half couldn’t stop raving about the Brie, Bacon and Cranberry hoagie which he had and my Turkey and stuffing sandwich in sour bread was so good! Banging cappuccino too! I shall be returning to try the French toast and the loaded croissants as they sound divine! Highly recommend!
