Harpers cafe & bar

Yesterday I had the most amazing baby shower at Harpers Bar & Cafe all catered and decorated by the girls who work there. Honestly this was the most beautiful day for myself and my partner and we can’t thank you all enough. The price was amazing the food was amazing the staff was amazing and the atmosphere was amazing. Thank you so much ladies for making it so special🫶🏽☁️💕🎀

Birthday Brunch! Lovely welcome from the staff – they were amazing and patient, especially considering there were 14 of us all ordering drinks! Great choice of drinks – wine, Prosecco, vodka (Smirnoff), and cocktails! The boys had plenty of bottled beers. The food was delicious – the "Marry Me" chicken pasta was the highlight for me! The team really looked after us, even bringing out a complimentary birthday shot for our friend. The owner was front of house serving, then back in the kitchen cooking – what a lovely, hardworking lady trying to build a successful business. 👏👏 Well done – credit to you! We all left full and very tipsy! Thank you 🩷

First time going into this cafe on Sat morning for a cuppa and bacon roll. No atmosphere, not welcomed in / acknowledged at all. Absolutely no customer interaction. Staff were functional at best. My partner's flat white was barely adequate, no saucer, my tea was OK. We ordered bacon rolls which took ages to arrive - no idea why as it wasn't busy AND when they did arrive, almost cold and so bacon was getting tough. 2 small pieces of bacon per roll. Had to ask for brown sauce, but again no chat/interest by the staff member. Could be a fabulous place given it's position but there are other much better places to eat/drink who actually appear to want you to use them. This one doesn't. Given that we've just come back from German Xmas markets, the difference in customer service is worlds apart.

Perfect spot for a god catch up with friends! We had the bottom brunch and I have to say it was the best brunch menu Iv ever had! The garlic mushroom starter was amazing, and the enchiladas was 10/10 all our plates were empty! The girls kept coming over to take drinks orders for our brunch and the cocktails wasn’t the usual weak cheap cocktails they were served in nice glasses, and tasted amazing! Highly recommend

Coffee was okay, I'd have to try again. Staff were very friendly and welcoming they seem to enjoy working there. Didn't order any food but my friends portion looked very generous. My only gripe was it was so freezing, I was actually relieved to go back out in the cold 😂
