3Vesuvio's Italian Restaurant

Overall, a good meal at a reasonable price. Welcoming was a bit off as the place was empty and we got a bit of a cold welcome as we didn't have a booking. Staff didn't really seem engaged with service it was very blunt. There's a complete lack of atmosphere and the tables in places were a bit sticky (weird for a fairly new restaurant), everything just feels a bit thrown together, especially with the music which plays Spotify adverts every so often. Food came out in good time, the starters were very nice. Mains again good and hot, lasagne was maybe a bit small. Pizza had nice toppings and a good base. The guy who I assume is the owner/manager was nice, he clearly has his regulars/favourites who he makes a fuss about. The only problem was the whole place smells, as there's either no adequate ventilation or the fact it's an open plan kitchen just puts the smell on all your clothes/coats. It was £26 each, for two people with starters and mains with one beer and one side of fries. If I wanted an Italian in the area I would go back.

I’ve been to Vesuvios a number of times now and it is always the same … great food, lovely atmosphere and service! We had a family meal on New Years Eve 2025 and we had a great time … great service and food! All of the staff were amazing, so friendly and so much fun for a New Year! And we had a little sing along for my birthday! Thank you so much 🥰

A lovely restaurant. We were served quickly and warmly by friendly and attentive staff. Our food came out quickly and tasted fresh and delicious. We were very happy customers.

Went for my birthday with the family and had a wonderful time. The menu was varied and had options for us all, the food came swiftly and looked fantastic! The portion size was very generous but they provided take out boxes for what we couldn’t eat. The coffees were wonderful and the tiramisu is to die for! The restaurant itself was nicely laid out, had lovely music but the table was a little sticky from being recently painted/varnished but this didn’t detract from the experience (and provided fun when my dad struggled to pick his cocktail up haha). Will definitely be back on the future :)

I visited this restaurant last night and had a truly delightful evening. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was fast, and the staff were extremely polite. Even though the place was crowded and full of energy, everything ran smoothly. The food was amazing - every dish was perfectly flavored and beautifully presented. I’m very satisfied with the experience and can’t wait to return. I highly recommend it!
