After eating at other curry houses around the area, this has to be one the best. Food is amazing with giant hanging nan breads. Service is great. Seating areas are a little on the small side. Better than some of the award winning restaurants. 10/10
We visited on an incredibly busy Saturday night at 10.30pm. Thankfully we had a reservation as people were literally queuing out of the door. It was so busy and after eating there I can understand why. Top notch food from start to finish. Lovely poppadoms and pickle tray. Starters of onion bhajis and pakoras were great too. All of our mains, pilau rice and naan bread were on point. I was pleasantly surprised how good it all was. The staff were all so busy but very professional in dealing with a hectic environment. I'll definitely come back again.
Absolutely revolting. This place should be shut down by the health department. The hygiene was beyond terrible. The floors were filthy, tables were sticky, and the smell alone made my stomach turn. To make it worse, I literally saw rats running around. RATS. In a place that serves food. I have no words for how unsafe and disgusting that is. How can anyone eat here knowing rodents are freely roaming around? It’s a serious health hazard and shows complete lack of care for cleanliness or customer safety. I lost my appetite instantly and couldn’t even stay. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place unless you want food poisoning or worse. This was one of the most horrifying dining experiences of my life. Three star ratings ??? It should zero instead.
This place used to be the best by far but has gone downhill the last 3 times we have visited, the service and the food. I always place the same order, lamb chops starter and then my normal main meal, lamb chops (cold), i mentioned this to service staff, just said it was because i didn't have them on a bed of fried onions, but she could warm them up? not very fresh then, i thought they came straight out of the tandor oven? My regular main came very spicy hot, like a vindaloo, i had a couple of mouthfuls then give up, my wife's starter was also fairly cold and her main wasn't that good either. After our last 2 uneventful visits we decided to give it one last try, we did and it wasn't good, sorry to say this because we used to love this place, we travel over from Bradford just to eat at this place but sadly not again. May give another go in 12 months to see if they get back on track.
Fantastic food, excellent staff. Very rapid and professional service. Couldnt recommend more.
