I started the link on Google Maps. I’ve been driving past this place for the last few weeks and noticed it’s had a full refurb, so when I saw it was open last night I stopped to grab a menu. The place is clean and modern, as you’d expect with it just opening. The guy behind the counter was welcoming and explained that they’re keeping the menu focused on what they do best— traditional curries, starters & the like —which I appreciated. At least you know they’re sticking to what they know. I went with a lamb bhuna and an extra naan and it did the job perfectly. Good portion size, freshly cooked and still nice and warm when I sat down to eat it. Everything was packed well with no leaks, and the curry was finished with a bit of garnish, which was a nice touch. I’ll be back again for my next curry night. Solid first impression, considering I only went in for a menu! I’ve uploaded the menu as my picture uploads - nice to see a good curry spot in Brighouse. Good luck Mirchy.👍🏼 I will upload photos of packing and curry after next visit / didn’t think to take pics before I started to dig in.
Ordered a large curry and it had 6 pieces of chicken? If that was a large then what’s a regular? Curry was also sweet and tasted sugary not authentic, pilau was bland and unauthentic too. Delivery also took almost an hour and a half really disappointing for what was received and how little the order was. However the samosas were really good, wouldn’t be back in a rush at all.
Food arrived cold, butter chicken was swimming in oil, chicken madras was just all sauce with limited amount of chicken in,bhajis and samosas were soggy and greasy, chips were cold and chewy, overall very disappointing will not be ordered again
Best food in the town. Will order again!
Second time here already, service and food 10/10
