This is a local one man business run by Ian. He is a man who knows exactly what he is doing and does it brilliantly. His passion for what he does is obvious if you spend a little time with him. He is also a top craftsman. I can only say that the job he did for me was superb and completed well ahead of time. We purchased two sofas from a well known chain just over two years ago. The back and seat cushions had flattened to be so uncomfortable, but Ian has taken them and revitalised them with new shaped foam. It’s like having new sofas. Great communication, prompt service and attention to detail. Top notch!

TL/DR - dedicated professional with amazing attention to detail. So, I'm a bit late with this review, and I apologise for this, but I have learned not to speak too soon in case jobs don't last. My wife had a revelese chair when she was a child, but it finally broke with wear and tear and had been sat in a garage ever since. She finally decided to bring this out of retirement, so we popped in to see Ian. What struck us immediately was his exceptional knowledge on the topic and his attention to detail. After a few chats over the chair and appropriate fabric choices, he gave us a clear idea on the cost and timelines. There was something of a challenge in one part of the refurb, as the original material used was not available but was also not an appropriate modern material (and all the previous padding was not up to modern fire safety standards!) While Ian was eager to keep the chair as faithful to the original as possible, he spent time doing a little research on the best options to solve the problems in preparation. He picked up the chair and had it all ready slightly ahead of the promised date. The work was impecable, and even as I look at it today, I cannot fault a single thing about it. The material we chose was, as it turns out, not the easiest to use as it was a grid pattern which, had he made the covers even slightly out of line, it would have shown terribly. I look at it today, after close to a year of regular use, and it looks as good as the day Ian delivered it. I'm sure there are cheaper solutions out there, but if you want a job doing right the first time, this is the guy you're looking for! Top quality work - many thanks
