Excellent service, No hard sell I felt like I was asking the questions and getting truthful answers back. I arrived with a list of accessories/upgrades OEM options I wanted and the guys found and sat me in what has become the best car I've owned. I recommend them all the time. I've owned five Volvo's now (This is my first from here) and dealt with main dealers back street non reputable non specialist and even maintained myself, so I was over the moon on the first service when I took it back. Quick turn around used OEM part's and the bill didn't make my heart skip three beats. My car has been all over the country covered thousands of miles both attended car shows and even made it on to YouTube on a car enthusiast's video about the generations of Volvo's. So if you've read this far and still haven't got dressed and one foot out the door and on your way to speak with them I'm assuming it's only because they're closed and having a well earned rest.

Well, what can I say about this garage, All I can say is fantastic, excellent service, great communication, great vehicles, great customer service, very helpful, extremely friendly honest and no I do not work for them. I’ve purchased a 2014 Volvo XC 90 D5 R-design off Johnson back in September 2024. I was very optimistic as I was over two hours away and I struggle with time with kids activities out of work to view the vehicle, I contacted Johnson and from the minute I spoke to him I felt at ease, he sent me every single picture and video that I requested and there was a lot, this was so that I could See everything with the vehicle, any issues that I pointed out were rectified and sorted. I had new brakes all round fitted when there was no need to had timing belt changed, serviced, fresh mot, full valet and delivered. When the car was delivered by Johnson himself it was in better condition than I expected and as I thought what a gentleman he was. I really cannot recommend this garage enough. I have recommended it quite a few times already to group members on Facebook on the Volvo owners club and the Volvo XC 90 owners club and when I am ready for another vehicle, I shall be going here 1st to see if he can help Keep up the good work and the team. Had a great experience buying my V70 here. Checked the car out and went for a test drive with Greg. It had only just arrived with them so hadn’t been worked on at all yet. The little bits of wear or damage were all sorted for me to an excellent standard, perfect MOT put on, bodywork waxed, service, cambelt. Got the AA to check it out because I’ve been burnt before and I was paranoid, the inspector came out, test drove and looked over it and couldn’t fault it, he said to me that he trusts this garage and every car he checks there is as described. I’ve already recommended to a few friends and I think my Dad will be down to buy an XC60 soon!

I don't normally post reviews but Greg at Volvo Specialist Car Sales went above and beyond to make sure my new purchase was as smooth as possible. Greg kept me up to date, which was especially good as I was buying from Scotland. Everything was as described and delivered to my door for a very reasonable price. Can't recommend this garage enough. Best experience of buying a car in 17 years.

So came across Johnson when checking the service history from another Volvo Johnson was very helpful and also suggested another V90 he had in stock In a nutshell finance was arranged on my behalf The car has been serviced and a new MOT put on the car. He didn’t have to but he replaced all the discs and pads and delivered the car a long distance All in all a decent professional guy but of course am yet to drive and test the car so 🤞🤞there won’t be any issues but would recommend All good driving went through a Volvo main dealer healthcare check with no issues. Bar a query over the rear wiper blade. So very pleased with that. Adds reassurance
