I popped in for a hot sandwich - roast chicken with gravy & stuffing - and it was absolutely delicious. A nice big sandwich and lovely tender chicken. Couldn't resist some of the carrot cake for dessert. That was gorgeous, too. And a hefty chunk, considering the price! All in all, I had the sandwich, the carrot cake, and a packet of crisps, and it was £5.20. The woman who owns the place was lovely and chatty, too. Very friendly and welcoming. I strongly recommend!

Best sandwich round Brighouse. Been a customer for many years. All staff are very friendly and welcoming. Re the review re attitude ....... don't believe it for a minute. Go and visit for yourselves and you will end up being a regular customer. Keep up the good work !!

I visited Green’s bread and sandwich shop on the morning of the 28/07/18 at around 11.30. I don’t usually post reviews online but I believe that if the woman who served me on Saturday morning isn’t the owner then the owner needs to know how rude this woman is. I don’t mind being told that you’re out of brown bread or that a ham salad sandwich already comes with egg in it or that you would rather not accept a Scottish note, but when you tell me in a rude, condescending, patronising manner, like I had inconvenienced you with my being there, then I do mind. Luckily I took my money down the road to the old post office sandwich shop who were friendly and helpful from the moment I walked through the door. If the owner is not the woman who (failed to) serve me then I would recommend having a word with her about the manner in which she addresses customers. That level of customer service, if left unchallenged, will continue to drive customers away. If the woman was the owner - you need to have a word with yourself!

Quality of the food is second to none, portion size is just fantastic. the staff are just great, friendly and always happy to help. Definitely worth a visit
