Super Pound Store

I went in today to get a new trolley and the wheel came off after purchasing the trolley so I went back to tell him that the wheel has come off all he told me to do was swap it for a other trolley so I did and he told to put the trolley back so did and walked out the other trolley and the wheel has come off again luckily I has my old trolley

Got blatantly overcharged today by the cashier doubling the cost of items which I paid for by card. Luckily I checked my online banking and went back in to complain and get a refund. Which they reluctantly gave. On leaving the store an older lady said that she had been ripped off many times by this same store and once when returning faulty electrical items was refused a refund. It’s a store with lots of items not available elsewhere in Brighouse with reasonable prices. It’s a shame to spoil it with such blatant thievery and in particular praying on older people. I’ll be watching them and will report to Trading Standards if I hear of many other people having a similar experience.

Lousy attitude from the man serving! He really got annoyed when I asked for a receipt, had to put all my stuff through again to produce it. Turns out he'd overcharged me. Absolutely no surprise. There was a big commotion, I assume with the manager/owner. I just left, they can have a few quid on me for some poppadoms.

The best shop in Brighouse. Everything from a sledge hammer to a spare part for an air-fryer to compost to a frying pan to a tin of beans to shoe polish. Imagine it, and it's there. And if it's not, they will order it. All products are at great value for money prices crowned by a friendly Yorkshire service! Why shop elsewhere?

A quirky shop that is like Alladin's cave. It is much bigger inside than it appears from the outside. The ware are essentially household items both disposable and none disposable. There are things for the garden, garage, an office, kitchen, diy, painting and decorating, electricals and plumbing. The majority of goods are not branded and consequently much cheaper and though fit for purpose the quality is lower in keeping with the price. Nonetheless there are plenty of bargains to be had.
