Simply Divine Things is such a treasure trove of a shop and a great addition to Brighouse! The shop is filled with and supports over 100 local makers & artists!!! They sell a huge range of locally handmade gifts: jewellery, homeware, gifts, candles, art, ornaments, soft furnishings, clothing….and so much more!!! The owner is so knowledgeable and passionate about all of the items available for sale! They also host a huge range of workshops to suit all of your crafting whims! I would highly recommend a visit! ⭐️ ⭐️ ️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Amazing beautiful gift shop packed with lovely products which are all UK based, so supporting UK businesses. Manager (Kirsty) is so lovely and polite, same with staff. Lovely environment. So glad, I have brought all of my family in here we have spent SOOOO much money. So so happy, will 100% be returning AGAIN for all christmas and birthday presents.
I love to support small businesses BUT I'm really unimpressed by the owner. My son was touching one of the plastic baubles which was hanging and it came apart. I was right there with him and watching him. The lady came over and said it was broken so I said I'd pay for it. I then questioned if the bauble was broken - it's not and clearly was loose when my son went to hold it. I've put it back together and been spinning it around and it's absolutely fine! She wouldn't listen to reason and said the baubles aren't toys. He wasn't even playing with them, merely touching them. It's so cheeky to make me buy something saying it's broken and can't be resold when it isn't even broken 🥴. And if things can break that easily, they shouldn't be sold to the public!!
My sister has bought me a few birthday and Christmas presents from this shop and all of them have all been lovely and really excellent quality. It's such a lovely shop and I've been so happy with everything I've had. I particularly love the hand made fabric pouches, I've now got a few of these in different designs as they are so handy for make up and stationery. I hope to be able to visit the shop in person at some point as they have such a lovely range of nice gifts!
I’ve been putting off writing this review for a while, but after hearing about other people’s equally unpleasant experiences, alongside my own, I feel it’s important to speak up. My experience was extremely disappointing. While the shop itself has potential, the owner completely ruins it. They were unwelcoming, rude, and came across as highly unprofessional. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable and awkward, making it a place I wanted to leave as quickly as possible. A gift shop should feel warm, friendly, and inviting… this was the exact opposite. I would strongly advise people to avoid this shop. I won’t be returning.
