Howdens Brighouse is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The depot is closed on Sundays. I was a very easy customer, was happy with first design and after 10mins handed over 5grand at design appointment for my utility room - Cupboards only, so not exactly cheap. (not including worktops, appliances, flooring etc) they wanted to deliver straight away, which i didn't mind as I was able to start work asap. On delivery day, failed to inform me half my order wouldn't come until the following week and was dropped off with a "to follow" slip. No further communication on the matter. Not ideal when you have your joiner ready to start work. Bit of backwards and forwards with warehouse as some wrong/missing items. Second delivery came, still no communication and still not complete. Was told by the poor driver the rest would come following day. Had no slip so wasn't even sure what i was waiting for. Unsurprisingly didn't turn up and I had to chase it up. Again more missing/incorrect items. boiler cupboard was measured wrong and had to be changed which conpletey changed the aesthetic of the room and meant other cupbaords did not align. I'm not exadurating when I say at least half of my order was either incorrect or missing overall. Always had to wait for a call back when i rang, most of the time never even called me back. Staff were rude and abrupt so much so my husband had to go down to the depot personally due to the way I was being spoken to deal with the matter in person. I wasnt going to bother writing a review as i couldnt be bothered wasting any more time as i have an amazing joiner who amended the plans himself to make things fit and align as best he could. Aside from the boiler cupboard, the room looks gorgeous, and the quality seems reasonable so far although its only been a couple of weeks. Fast forward to today, my decorators have now been and was looking forwars to the install of pull down clother airer which was supposed to attached to the wall came as an internal wardrobe accessory and wasn't something that could be put on the wall. After waiting on a call back the response was "oh that's a shame" so I asked what the resolution was and was told to return the item. No alternative option, not even so much as an apology. I'm not sure why I should have to go to the depot. AGAIN? After my joiner has been down countless times to collect items what should of been delivered. The whole ordeal has been a nightmare and I would hand on heart never ever deal with howdens again. An absolute shambles of a company. I'm sure I'll get a generic apology on the back of this review but I'm not interested. I'll post this review on every channel possible. Oh and I still haven't received my quote for worktops i requested at design stage, good job I went elsewhere for them or I expect they'd be wrong, or missing too!
Mal provided me with a excellent service throughout a very awkward kitchen fit with the customer watching everything. Mals design was excellent and the customer said he had got it spot on. Sarah and Adam backed up the service to match when extra parts were required. We'll done everyone at Brighouse depot. Excellent service 👏

Well what can I say….I went to Howdens spoke to Charlii who came out designed my kitchen and within three weeks it was fitted. Thanks also to Eddie Gibbs plaster who project managed and the two Mick’s for fitted it… I couldn’t be happier absolutely 5***** service would highly recommend thank you again Guys..ps I could go on praising these guys but I’m just going to go Stare at my beautiful kitchen 👍😁
So slow. Been a week now. Some items not delivered. Flooring not right. Had to sort ourselves. Still can't cook till next week. Overall disappointing
