Only used the driving range and putting green as I'm very new to Golf. We travelled in from the other side of Huddersfield as the set up looked just ideal for us. From the first phone contact through to the 4th visit so far the club has been friendly and welcoming. The facilities are great, the course always looks good, very pleasant setting, helpful staff and welcoming club house environment. The food in there looked and smelled so good! We will be back I hope once we try the course that we find the other players tolerant and kind to the newbies!
Had a funeral reception here for about 30 persons, in the conservatory. Venue was perfect. Food was excellent. Lots of food - had lots left. Very well looked after by staff. Only a short drive away from the crematorium. Would thoroughly recommend.
My first ever visit to this place in all the time I have lived in brighouse & my it didn’t disappoint the room that we were having are meal in plus entertainment was very open with stunning views of Yorkshire s finest greenery . We arrived a bit early but had a loverly chap called Richard have a chat to myself plus my parents explaining the history of the golf club which was a brilliant insight to the evening before we sat down to have are 3 course meal . The food to my taste was amazing it was just cooked right from starters to desert the staff were very warm n helpful to every in the room it s a very unique experience to have a golf club in the centre of a town or just not far from the main area but this place from the large car park great facilities plus very interesting history I would highly recommend plus I am not a golf fan but we also got a cracking view of the fair way with the green just yards away which was just so beautiful . I hope to call back next year or before thank you for the club’s professionalism plus high standards
It a decent golf course 9 holes but you replay the 9 holes to get 18 holes found it boring 2nd time round.
Brilliant Gold course but unfortunately last Christmas we went for a Christmas dinner and they did not have anything set us for us also after we left we were ill. This has happened a few times so I hope this gets resolved.
