Only played the championship course which is massive and very challenging. Keep returning though travelling over an hour each time to play. The course is in great condition and I hire a buggy each time which is worth the price. Ate in the cafe/bar once this was nice but isn’t open every day so missed it the last few times.
Just a nice day out getting rid of the week’s anger. We decided to hit the driving range the matts are a bit scruffy and the balls we got were split and broken in half. There are 3 courses from a beginners to a full championship course. The venue is amazing beautiful countryside with a decent amount of parking and out door seating. Get down here with some friends hit the driving range and have some fun.
Amazing! My first experience golfing with a friend and it couldn’t have gone any better. The location is absolutely perfect with lots of well looked after fields and very friendly golfers. Everything is well spaced out and the practice facilities are clean and to the point. Ample car parking and great atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Absolutely shocking driving range experience. Visited today (Sun 31/08) - Never again! - OK Ball dispenser was down so they were giving balls out in 50's per player but people coming in and getting balls for 2/3/4 people. On a positive note my watch suggested I'd hit 53 balls for my 50! Range was packed, a few with groups of lads in the bays trying to 'Happy Gilmore' golf shots - other bays with families, others with groups of couples joking about. Poor ambience/setup for actual golfers wanting to practice, there were no rubber golf tees in many of the mats so ruled out using some clubs. I've been to better municipal club range setups.
Every tee box on Pine is now made out of sand? Seems an insane tactic to get people to be better out of bunkers. Disappointing seeing as the prices of the intermediate course keep seeming to gradually increase.
