What can I say other than Steve is an exceptional trainer. Living with ADHD, staying consistent has always been tough, and I honestly thought I’d never see this through beyond a week given my track record but his motivation and structured approach keep me on track every week. I’ve seen real progress in my overall fitness levels and weight loss and highly recommend him to anyone looking for professional, results-driven training.
TriLab is the perfect environment for Steve's classes, and coaching. The strength and Conditioning session is testing, energetic, fun and a whole body workout. It compliments all aspects of training and is delivered in a friendly but professional manner. I look forward to S&C each week and always feel the benefits. I can't recommend Steve's session highly enough.
We decided to sign up with Steve about 4 months ago, and it was the best fitness decision we've made: We had both been finding it more and more difficult to stick to exercise and training routines with work commitments and the creep of age. We contacted Steve and after our initial discussion and assessment, Steve put our plan together. We both had different outcomes from the training plan, but wanted to train together. Steve set achievable goals with a well constructed plan to take into account our various strengths and niggles. The steady progression, regular check ins and encouragement was, and continues to be a really rewarding training relationship. Our fitness gains continue to improve. For full disclosure- I hated the gym, I now look forward to our gym sessions. The app and the communication are really helpful to stay on track. I would recommend Steve and Shift Fitness to anyone looking to make fitness improvements, staying fit or starting a fitness journey.
I am so pleased with the progress I have made since working with Steve. In January having turned 52 , I was overweight , had stopped enjoying exercise. I thought I would never regain the fitness and strength I enjoyed when I was younger. Three months into the programme I have lost over a stone , have far more energy , feel strong and much more positive. I have found a better work life balance and prioritise my health and fitness ( something I've not done for a few years ) . Steves input , motivation and personalised programmes have helped me to enjoy exercise, break unhealthy eating habits and regain a more competitive mind set.
Love this class. Steve has renewed my faith in how good S&C is for your body & mind. He can scale a movement if required and keeps everyone’s momentum going. Great class, even better PT!
