The Crown

The atmosphere was very pleasant and truly festive, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable. The Christmas dinner was absolutely delicious — beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. Everything from the presentation to the taste exceeded expectations, and it was a wonderful experience overall.

Booked in to stay overnight was greeted on arrival and shown where to park. £10 a night, but which was redeemed against food purchased in the pub. Have to say the food did not disappoint it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming along with the locals. Would definitely come back.

Absolutely great place. I come here all the time and the staff are always welcoming and happy for a chit chat. The atmosphere inside is great too, you can tell everyone is having a good time. The food is also great. Overall an amazing pub 😁

Lovely atmosphere in this gem of a pub. The food is outstanding and the variety on the menu should suit all tastes. Having eaten there a few times now, both evening meals and breakfasts, I would be happy to recommend it as a place to call in on. The time from ordering, to it being delivered to the table is very acceptable, it's well presented, but most importantly, it's reasonably' priced. There's plenty of parking out back too.

We came to the Crown on Sat 24th for Burns Night. The food was amazing especially the cranachan (best I've had south of the border) and service was good too. The piper added to the atmosphere and we would certainly recommend the Crown for future evenings out.
