I don’t normally do reviews but I have been ordering takeaway from here for years. They practically got me through uni, as there were many late nights where I was too exhausted to cook but needed good food to keep me going! The food is always delicious and I sometimes like to try new things on the menu for a change and have never been disappointed! The value for the amount of food you get is great and while other takeaways have hiked up prices over the years, I could always rely on Emon to still remain affordable! And last but not least, the delivery man is always smiling and lovely, even on days you can tell they’re clearly run off their feet with orders! And on the VERY RARE occasion they’re even a tiny bit late delivering an order (due to circumstances outside their control) he will be super apologetic. Overall a great place and I highly recommend! :)
Our second visit in last couple of months. Delicious food, perfect sized portions. Not best location but about the only thing we could fault. Will return if we are in the area again.
Emon Spice Lounge @Brough East Yorkshire 5'STARS Not booked just walked in to this unassuming restaurant near the train station ! Heard from someone how delicious this place was so after a rainy day inside off we went to Brough Seated in a nice position in the restaurant & friendly staff , not only was food delicious with excellent choice of all your favourites & more (see photos)we had a lovely chap playing live guitar which was just the icing on the cake 🍰 & definitely unexpected ,amazing value & WOW we'll be back
I was really dissapointed with this place. Heard so many good reviews. A very tired and run down building, dirty carpets throughout. The staff were pleasant. Apart from the guy smoking next to the open window, covering us with smoke !! Then the guy who made himself a cup of tea, sat on the next table and browsed his phone. Hahaha The food wasnt the best either. Chicken tikka shaslik was undercooked. Garlic naan, very little garlic. And the beer wasnt very cold and ended up flat. Not good.
