My experience with Daniel Alexander Motor Group Ltd was absolutely disgraceful and i wish i would've read all the negative reviews before deciding to make the big decision to purchase a vehicle from this garage , i purchased a Mercedes Benz CLA which was on a 2019 plate with 45k miles , vehicle looked immaculate inside and out on the day of collection but in reality the vehicle give me issues within less than 30 days of purchase , also the vehicle was due a service that Daniel Alexander Motor Group Ltd decided to try and save money by selling the vehicle without a recent service that was due , so they basically tried to save between £120-150 what a service A is costing on a £15591 vehicle sale , showroom and outward appearance does not reflect in the standard of cars that are sold and driven away. Investments and small details such as number plates of all the vehicles personalized with Daniel Alexander Motor Group Ltd plus key rings , pens and coffee mugs all nice touches to promote the “BRAND” it is such a shame investments and the small touches are not focused more on the vehicles people purchase. The lights on the dashboard came on and made the vehicles dashboard look like a Christmas Tree , steering wheel got stiff and heavy to turn when maneuvering. I contacted Daniel Alexander Motor Group Ltd and first spoke with Sam who was completely unhelpful and come across completely different from the day i went to purchase the vehicle when she was friendly and helpful unlike when i first made contact about the issues with the vehicle , first Sam was attempting to shift the blame and responsibility to the finance and warranty company but when her attempt failed she advised that the owner would call me. Sam also advised me to go and get a diagnosis report on the vehicle and Sam also confirmed that the car was under warranty with Daniel Alexander Motor Group after previously attempting to avoid dealing with the issues by placing blame onto the warranty offered by my finance company when i'd previously been advised by my finance company they are fully responsible as the car was purchased less than 30 days ago. Sam also confirmed on the phone that all cost for the diagnosis will be covered for 1 hour. I ended up paying from my own pocket the £75 pounds i was charged from a local garage who carried out the diagnosis. Daniel was very reluctant to cover the £75 pounds cost and had to attend the garage in person to get the money refunded back to me when i returned the vehicle. They was also reluctant to comply with the warranty they reassured was excellent at the time of purchase this became clear at the first sign of any issues this was not the case as a courtesy car , recovery of the vehicle and other reasonable requests to get the issue resolved as quickly as possible but the dismissive attitude from Daniel in regards to repairs to the vehicle was extremely disappointing and left me with no other option then return the faulty vehicle. Daniel was more than happy for me to drive miles in a faulty vehicle because he informed me that a recovery of the vehicle would not be available for a week or more , but this is not acceptable and not the type of service you expect to receive from a "high end vehicle sales garage" how they consider themselves. After the owner contacted me totally rude , disrespectful and dismissive , once again very different approach to the first encounter when i purchased the vehicle. Avoid Daniel Alexander Motor Group Ltd , do not be deceived by outward appearances and fake friendly customer service , the service i received does not reflect with the positive reviews this garage has received , hopefully this review will prevent someone going through the same awful experience i had when buying a vehicle from Daniel Alexander Motor Group Ltd. My overall experience with Daniel Alexander Motor Group Ltd. was extremely poor wish I could’ve left a half a star or no star at all which would reflect more accurately. Currently still awaiting to be refunded the deposit paid for the faulty Mercedes Benz CLA vehicle.
