Wow. The food here was absolutely delicious. Nestled in a bend in the road outside Carlton, I didn't know what to expect and was blown away by the quality of the food. Turkish food done super well. Flatbread, hummus, grilled meats, salad... All exceptional. It was so good we're going back next week too. Updated 2025-10-25 Back for lunch the 2nd week in a row. Tried different things from the menu this time. Superb. Be aware that at lunch time, from the outside, the restaurant may appear shut, but it's not. You should enter from the car park.

We were reading the negative reviews before we came and decided to give it a try. The food was gorgeous. I had the lamb shank, which slid off the bone and was so succulent. The other person had the equivalent of a mixed grill, one piece of the chicken was a bit tough but the rest of the meats were gorgeous. The service was fast and the waitress was so happy and enthusiastic. She even noted that the music was a bit too loud so turned it down. The menu pointed out the gluten and diary free options which were great to see.

Of course. Here is a sharp, critical review based on the experience you described. ★☆☆☆☆ Utterly Unreliable - Don't Waste Your Time Booked a table for today, Saturday, after seeing the large sign on the road clearly stating they open at 12:00. We planned our afternoon around it. We arrived on time to find the entire establishment in darkness, with all doors locked and not a single person in sight. We tried calling the listed phone number multiple times, only for it to ring out with no answer. There was no note on the door, no updated message, nothing. Just a complete disregard for customers who have made a confirmed booking. This level of unprofessionalism is frankly unacceptable. It's one thing to have an emergency, but another to leave customers stranded with zero communication. A completely wasted journey and a thoroughly disappointing experience. If a restaurant can't manage the basic task of opening its doors for a booking, it doesn't deserve anyone's business. We won't be back.

Fantastic food, flavoursome, fresh and generously portioned. Can’t complain. Great selection of beers and very attentive staff.

Absolutely exceptional food, some of the best Turkish food I've ever had. Service is attentive and quick. Can particularly recommend the sucuk, the chicken Iskander and the baklava. The bread is to die for too
