5 Stars - Outstanding Experience with Akeda Kitchens! I recently had the pleasure of working with Raff at Akeda Kitchens to design my kitchen, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! From the moment I contacted Raff with my initial ideas, he was incredibly professional and attentive to my needs. He took the time to listen to my ideas, understood my vision, and provided expert recommendations that truly elevated the design. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship is second to none. The cabinets are beautifully crafted and offer a perfect blend of style and functionality. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail in the finishing touches – it’s clear that Akeda Kitchens cares deeply about delivering top-notch work. The project was completed on time, and the fitter Raff recommended, Tyler was efficient, respectful, and very skilled. Together they made sure everything was perfect before they left, and the final result exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re looking for a kitchen that’s both functional and stunning, I highly recommend Akeda Kitchens. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free, nothing was too much trouble.

Not normally the one to leave reviews but some companies deserve good ones. Went in to buy a white gloss door (to cut and use for a plinth) as I needed a bigger than average plinth. They come out and give me 2 pieces and said you can have them for free. Thank you.

I would absolutely highly recommend this company. Nothing is too much trouble. Good communication from making the initial call, to coming out and measuring and delivery. I found all the staff really friendly and helpful. Excellent after sales service too. I am really happy with my kitchen units and worktop. I would definitely use their services again. Thank you

A couple of guys from the company have used these guys and told me to go here as they’re cheap.. yes they are cheap and I will say the carcasses are well built. However my experience with the company it’s self has not been great. Also speaking to those 2 guys after one of them did also have missing items and had to go back. To start I went in and ordered what I needed, was really quick and the guy that served us was super helpful. I arranged to collect the kitchen at the weekend as I didn’t want to pay the delivery. Unfortunately my van broke down and I couldn’t collect it at the weekend. Just as well because I received a call on the day I was supposed to collect to say it was running late; I explained about my van and absolute credit to them they did deliver it free of charge! However I was told on that phone call it would be delivered Monday. Then got a call Monday to say it was ready to collect. Person I spoke to had no idea they’d agreed to deliver it. The lady seemed put out by this but they said it was still fine, said they would ring me to arrange it. Few days later I got a call at around 11am which I missed as I was working. I rang at 14.09 and the spoke to a lady who said “we have been trying to contact you all day, to arrange a delivery today as the driver is heading to Wakefield but he has set off now, so you’ll have to come and pick it up.” I again explained my van had blown up and I couldn’t collect it for a while. I was told that I’d have to get someone else to collect it. Again explain re the van and I wasn’t physically able to at that point. This conversation continued a further 3 times in the same circle and the lady was quite pushy and abrupt. I ended the call admittedly wrongly as I was quite angry with how I’d been spoken to and the miss communication, lateness etc. next day I received a call to say driver is setting off and will be with me within an hour, is someone available. Explained I was 3 hours away but a a contractor will be at the house. This is admittedly my own fault and I should’ve checked with the contractor to get him to check it, unfortunately there’s a language barrier and I didn’t. When coming to install the kitchen I had the following issues; Worktop was damaged (this was the end that was being cut so no drama) Drawer sent was wrong size for unit No pilot hole on the drawers for screws or holes for the handle as there is on everything else Not enough hinges and 1 was miss-formed Missing legs Hinge pilot holes wrong place Phoned up to discuss this and they said there was nothing they could do re the worktops and any other damage as it should’ve been checked on delivery. - absolutely understand, and like I said earlier, not an issue as it was on a off cut, but given the experience I’ve had it has just added to the negative experience. Re the wrong drawer fronts been given, they have agreed to exchange them. Although they did say if they were damaged they couldn’t. Whilst again I understand this and fortunately they aren’t damaged; it does feel like they’re keen of an excuse not to change them? Again credit to them they have agreed to change a carcass I’d ordered in the wrong size. What also threw me was when I rang up with these issues I could hear the staff in the background talking about the issues I raised and getting defensive, seemingly wanting to pass the blame. - I feel I should add I wasn’t accusatory, angry, or anything other then just raising my issues calmly. I will say the women I spoke to today to raise these concerns to was nothing but polite etc and it what did impress me was just after getting off the phone a guy rang to check what my issues were as he was the one that sent it out and wanted to make sure he hadn’t sent the wrong unit. I explained this was my error and he said it was ok and I could come do the exchange tomorrow. Whilst they did go beyond their call helping me get it delivered and being in the trade I get things go wrong but, I wouldn’t recommend them at this stage. Will update later re exchange.
