Katie was an amazing server! Always smiling and very attentive, definitely brings joy to the restaurant. The food was outstanding, we had the black garlic ramen, yakisoba, rainbow roll sushi, miso soup and etc. A little of everything and they did not disappoint! Everything was great and the seasoning on point too. Definitely recommend and definitely coming back!
The brand-new Maki & Ramen has finally opened in Meadowhall — and judging by the crowds, everyone found out at the same time! They’re busy, yes, but the place runs like a well-oiled sushi machine. The team is organised, quick, and genuinely friendly, even with a full house. The food? Fantastic. The sushi is fresh, generous, and so good it should probably come with a warning label. The ramen bowls are pure comfort — rich broth, springy noodles, perfectly cooked eggs, and toppings that actually taste like someone cared. And the best part? It’s delicious and affordable. A rare combo these days, so take the win and enjoy it. Overall: great food, great people, great prices. Meadowhall finally has a spot where you can slurp, snack, and smile. 🍣🍜✨ Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience at Maki & Ramen. We were kindly helped with our order by the lovely Jihyun N., and we are truly grateful for her positive energy and cheerful attitude, which she shared with everyone around her. This is a place we always come back to with pleasure. Every single time, we forget to take photos of the food because it is simply too appetizing and delicious to even think about pictures in that moment. Highly recommended — amazing food, great atmosphere, and wonderful staff!
The environment is comfortable, but the height of the chairs and tables is not very suitable. The ramen broth was not hot enough, and the noodles were a bit too soft. Overall, the ramen tastes good, but there is still room for improvement. It is recommended that the soup be served hot, and if possible, adding a kids’ menu would be even better.The char siu is a bit dry.
Our first time trying Maki & Ramen. We had Chicken Ramen and a side of Kimchi. The main was enough to share with my mini me. It was delicious! The broth was so delicious and warming. A very hearty meal. Service was brilliant. Katie was lovely and attentive. She has given some lovely recommendations for next time. Sorry Slims but we have a new favourite 😍
