Slim Chickens

Ate with my wife after deciding to try a new food venue that we haven't used before. Ordered with ease at the self-service order point. Food was delivered to our table quickly, clearly hot and fresh. Everything tasted great!!! The onion rings were hot and crunchy, and the fried pickles were the same. Definitely recommend trying both as something to share. The chicken tenders were cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and moist. The wings, like the tenders, tasted great. The Texas toast was nice and hot. The selection of sauces available is huge. We ordered almost all to try and none disappointed. I can recommend them all!!!! Overall, I am extremely impressed with our 1st, and definitely not the last visit. Everything was great 10/10 👍 🙃

So I have been hearing about this chain a lot! I tried their 5 tender meal. I have to say their fries are second to only 5 Guys. Their toast was perfectly garlicky and toasty. Their house sauces were on point. But the star of the show, the tenders, were a bit dry and chewy. Even though they were packed with flavors. It's a bit pricey as well. Really a shame. I would have given more stars......

If you are going to have an app and loyalty vouchers then been situated somewhere with internet signal would be beneficial. Ordered at the self service and applied what I thought was a free item off my reward app. Food came , free item missing. Apparently you must order this at the counter and it's on the t&c but we couldn't see any t&c as the internet was soo poorly loading. Staff service poor and inattentive when mentioned. Unable to then add the free item at checkout unless I spent the minimum spend again. Chicken wings, fries and toast all very cold. Again back to the counter. They did make us another basket of fries. Chicken tenders were not the usual crispy fabulous pieces ( they were hot though at least ) The dipping sauce tubs are not huge anyway but these were half full at best. Did not live up to the usual slim chicken standards of other branches. Honestly if you want slim chickens go elsewhere for it as meadow hall one is disappointing.

We have eaten here before with no problems and spot on service, however this was completely different upon my recent visit. Unfortunately, one member of staff was rude and dismissive to start with we were told they were completely out of fries so we couldn’t order a meal, we said that was fine and chose something else , then when it came to ordering one of our meals we asked if we could eat in and was abruptly told they would be closing in an hour although they had people sat in, we were fine with taking the food to go, however whilst waiting the servers attitude made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. When the food arrived, it was practically shoved at us, leaving us feeling our custom wasn’t wanted.

We had lunch here, it's halal and the service is really fast. You have to pay extra for dips which are not ketchup or mayonnaise but that's expected. Their ranch sauce is delicious, and their milkshakes are nice with fried chicken. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and the cleanliness was on point, plenty of booths (I'd recommend sitting down the steps inside the establishment) as you get more privacy there. Finally, the staff were really courteous checking in on us and offering us assistance should we need it. They have their own toilets inside too which were pretty clean! Would definitely go again!
