Me and my friend found this stop very usable, located practically next to IKEA and having a smooth crossing for our platform! The platforms are well-sized and we relaxed while waiting for our tram, sitting down under the shelter. The departures board is modern enough but did not update with any text when the tram was delayed, whereas the stop needs to have the damage to that and the sign fixed.
The tram stop is right next to ikea and at this time ( 7.30am on a summer Sunday) it is a lovely place to wait for the ride home. Woodland and canal right near the tracks. Not so much fun having to wait for a tram in the depths of winter but the setting is definitely one of the more pleasant ones in sheffield. The only drawbacks, like all the stops on the route are the totally non comfortable seats and the inadequate weather protection.
Lovely place to sit and eat lunch. Nice people who live there. Please make sure to not make too much noise and take home any litter.
