Not bad overall but the car park soon fills up even the overspill. The picture is of the pick up/drop off area that has a 30 minutes wait time. Easy access to platforms, ticket office and help desk.
Arrived on a Saturday at about 11.45am plenty of spaces. It's not so easy to find a way to tram into the city centre. We did not see any direction signs from the car park or by station. Regarding the trams, they were very relaxing, and the routes were easy to understand, very reasonable priced. £4.90 all-day price. Jump on, jump off anywhere on route.
Very easy to find and choice of bus, tram or train from there - fab! We jumped on a tram within 2mins of arrival, and then a very nice chap showed us where to go once arrived in city. We were looking for larger signs of which tram Platform was which, but it's written on the info boards only. And we used our Scots tongue too! Return no prob. Fab service.
Very limited for parking! You can never get a space after 7:30am which makes parking impossible. The parking facilities seriously need expanding, or Meadowhall needs to allow people to park in their car parks when using the interchange
Excellent, easy to access interchange for trains and trams with lots of free parking and an overflow. Set next to the very large Meadowhall shopping centre. It takes about 20 minutes, by tram, to put you in the city centre, whereas the train will deposit you about 10-15 minutes walk away.
