Hart Shaw did a fabulous job taking me through the voluntary liquidation process for my contracting company.  As well as being professional and with a strong eye for detail, they were super-efficient through what can be quite a convoluted process.  My two primary points of contact (Chris and Paula) offered helpful, easy to understand advice and were both extremely personable throughout.  I would have no hesitation recommending them to other business owners looking to liquidate their companies.

We moved to Hart Shaw a few months ago and it was safe to say we were unclear as to our position with our businesses and the accounts. I use Hart Shaw for my accounting with my two small businesses, and they work on a fixed-fee which covers doing our accounts, CT returns, VAT returns and self-assessments. It also covers ad-hoc advice I need. They've just finished our accounts for this year and I really can't fault them - they do an excellent job of the technical work and they are always on hand to answer any questions I've got. My partner-contact is Hannah Jones who is fabulous - she has always got time for my left-field and neurotic questions. She is one of the only professional service providers I have found (and I work with a lot) who treats her clients in the same way I like to think I treat my own. What is more is that they don't seem to charge me more for the fact that they act as full-time accountants and part-time therapists.
