TSB Bank

Review on my Dad’s behalf - Chris was absolutely amazing, went above and beyond. Went in for one thing and came out with lots of useful help and advice. Couldn’t be happier with the service.

I went to TSB today needing to do a very last minute payment. I travelled to the Darnall branch where I was told they couldn't see me either today or tomorrow so called Meadowhall branch in a panic. I headed down and saw Lisa and Sue. Lisa predominantly took care of my enquiry and really went above and beyond to ensure not only that I was looked after but that I was made to feel reassured and supported in what I came to do. Very caring and empathetic workers which the branch is very lucky to have. Thank you both! ☺️☺️

Back in February, I went to withdraw money from the bank. The transaction was a little tedious as they had to go into the vault to get some out, and didn't have some of what I needed. But I digress. The main issue I had was with another customer, blatantly disregarding all privacy laws and common decency. She was face-timing with someone, quite loud might I add. The main issue is that she was RIGHT BEHIND ME, in full view of the teller. The teller did say something once but the ignorant woman behind me disregarded her and carried on. No due diligence was taken to remove the customer from the bank as she was breaking privacy laws by being on her phone, face-timing with her camera right behind me. If you ask me, there needs to be proper security in place in the bank. Other than that, I was able to complete my transaction, although VERY UNCOMFORTABLY. I tried my best to hide my pin from the person behind me and everything. In the end, I did complain to TSB, but have never heard anything back since other than a half-hearted apology.

Good old fashioned customer service and courtesy, not being very tech savvy, Chris Walker at Meadowhall has been so patient with me helping to set up mobile phone banking etc, excellent customer service. Thanks

Diane at the Meadowhall branch in Sheffield is a credit to the company, exceptional service 5⭐ Applying for a mortgage can be very daunting and nerve wrecking not knowing what to expect. However, Diane made everything so easy and guided me through the application, clearly explaining each step along the way. She was always open to answering any questions I had, no matter how basic they seemed. I left feeling completely confident about the application I was interested in. More importantly knowing Diane was on the other side of the phone should i have any more question. Diane is very approachable, understanding and a people's champion understanding the need of customer's as individuals. I highly recommend anyone wanting advice or thinking of a mortgage to contact TSB or reach out to Diane 🌟
