My neighbours are tenants of Global Letting Property Management Ltd. The neighbours engage in antisocial behaviour and have caused damage to my property. They damaged a shared boundary wall. I sent video evidence of the wall being damaged to Global Letting. The police and the council were involved and they contacted Global Letting as well as the landlord. This was in early 2023. After this, I chased up Global Letting on numerous occasions regarding fixing the wall. They have never responded to my emails. I have emailed them, seen them in person and phoned them. 20 MONTHS LATER, THEY HAVE STILL NOT FIXED THE WALL THEIR TENANTS BROKE. There are about 20 people staying in the neighbouring property at the moment. I brought the issue of overcrowding to Global Letting's attention over a year ago, but this issue remains. Such a level of overcrowding, has a negative impact on us neighbours. I would have liked these issues to have been resolved privately without having to post a public review, but unfortunately we not only had to face antisocial behaviour by their tenants but also have had to chase up Global Letting to resolve the issues. AND THE ISSUES STILL REMAIN! My family and I are disappointed and frustrated at such behaviour. We wish these long outstanding issues could be resolved without further delay. Global Letting are well aware of what the issues are and there is no need for further discussion. _______________________________________________________________ UPDATE FOLLOWING GLOBAL LETTING'S RESPONSE: 1 - Regarding your statement that you cannot simply take my word and accuse the tenants at the property, I sent you video evidence of how the wall was brought down. The footage was also sent to the council, who involved the police as it was a criminal matter. The evidence was sufficient for the police to log it as a crime, speak to your tenants, visit you at your premises and speak to you, retrieve the landlord’s phone number from you and inform the landlord. WHAT FURTHER EVIDENCE DO YOU NEED? Even if there is no contractual obligation, is there not a moral obligation to put things right when you are in a position to, if your tenants damage property that is of concern to their neighbours? 2 - It is false to say that no one else has complained about your tenants. Someone had complained to the council about your tenants having noisy dogs. I believe there was another complaint made by a lady who lives a few doors away from your tenants, who visited your premises and complained about a brick being thrown on her car. These are just 2 complaints which I know about. We are the immediate neighbours of your tenants and we have been here since before your tenants moved in. As immediate neighbours, we have borne the brunt of their antisocial behaviour. Please also bear in mind that there were several sets of tenants prior to these ones and we never had any problems with them. 3 - I sent you numerous emails regarding this matter. Not once did you respond to my emails. This was the first time I had discussed the matter in a public forum, so I find you saying “continually escalating this issue in public forums” to be MISLEADING and disturbing. I hope to keep my review updated as necessary.
I was a tenant with Global Letting for almost three years and I can simply say they are one of the best in Sheffield. The staff is friendly and helpful and their response time is amazing. They put the customer first and I've never felt that I was (as a tenant) just another way to generate income. I'm sad that I had to leave yet I'm glad that I've known one of the few decent property offices in Sheffield.
Given that we need to complete extensive repairs on a current property in Sheffield and this being our first time renting whilst construction is completed. The friendly team at Global Letting clearly guided us on the application process providing us with regular updates on the steps required to attain our property of choice. Reassurance given. We could not be more grateful for all their help and assistance throughout this process and would highly recommend their services for both tenants and landlords. After many months of negotiating with different letting companies being let down on more than one occasion it is with confidence we can say the service we have received from Global Lettings from beginning to end has been exceptional. Highly recommended.
I have worked with these guys (Zak and Merban) for many years who look after my properties. I've been with for many years, why? - They are the best around. I have used other agencies in the past and none of them come near in levels of service or knowledge.
