Upwell Street Pharmacy

I used this pharmacy to get a COVID booster vaccine. My review reflects the vaccine experience and what I saw of the pharmacy. The pharmacy is a little rundown inside; however, it appeared to have everything you'd expect. The vaccination section is situated at the entrance, where you sit on a chair and move along as the queue reduces. I expected to wait a long time to be seen; much to my surprise, it took 1-2 minutes per patient, allowing me to enter the store and leave in less than ten minutes. Five stars for the vaccine efficiency, but the place itself brought it to a four.

My housemate contacted the pharmacy to enquire about my warfarin and his own inhaler and the lady that answered the telephone was extremely helpful, she informed him that both of our prescriptions had gone to Page Hall pharmacy. Upon hearing the dismay in his voice she offered to collect it and drop it off at our home address and she was true to her word. We just wish that we had got the lady's name as she went above and beyond her professional duty.

Staff are always welcoming and will try their absolute best to resolve any issues should they arise. My go to pharmacy for all my prescriptions. Fantastic service, very helpful and will recommend to others as they always go above and beyond thank you to Adele and team

Friendly staff and quick service. The staff will offer to call you when your presentation is ready and they will reorder any repeats on your behalf. When you go to collect, the medication is ready for you at the front. No need to wait ages. Used to be with meadow hall boots but switched because of such good staff

Had a vaccination booked here, got a reminder on Saturday (it’s now Monday) and they said they haven’t had any for weeks…spoke to the NHS covid 19 vaccination booking team, they said the pharmacy are supposed to cancel them in those instances so that patients can rebook. A total waste of a trip and extra costs in fuel we could do without
