Weldricks Pharmacy - Darnall Primary Care Centre

On Friday my elderly mum frequented the chemist asking for help. It was raining and she felt unwell. Unfortunately she has left her phone at home and was wanting to ring my dad for a lift. She asked if she could use the phone and that she would pay for the call. You would think this was a reasonable request from a health provider. Only to find that the manager refused and she was sent on her way. It is a sad state of affairs if we can not help the elderly in thier time of need. A little compassion costs nothing.

I have never had a problem with any staff, old or new, they help out as much as they can and give you great advice, I suppose it comes down to how you talk and treat them to how they treat you ...5 star service

Hello, this place is a nightmare to deal with. If the staff know you then you have no problems with if not good luck to you. The medication sent from the doctor direct to the pharmacy is nightmare. If you thinking, your medication sent to the pharmacy will be ready to collect after your doctor's visit, forget about it. If you are Ill and think you can pick up the medication after your doctor appointment/visit is impossible and never ready to collect. You will most likely be waiting an hour or be told to go home and come back another time by the pharmacy to pick up your medication. They always say the system or the medication is stuck in queue or the doctor has not sent it yet. If possible remove this pharmacy from the doctors side as your main pharmacy and always get your prescription direct from your doctor or the reception, as this way you can get your medication from any pharmacy you like. The shop has small selection of every day bathroom items and medication to browse and buy. The parking is okay but get full easy at busy times. But they are more side street parking if required. I wouldn't wish this place on my enemy. Sorry for the long read and review. All the best.

Horrific customer service at this pharmacy. Im unsure why the workers at this pharmacy act like they are doing you a favour when you go to pick up your prescription. They will ignore you and speak to you extremely rude and seem to think this is ok. Lots of staff but all nattering away about their personal lives than help. lost count of the number of times I have experienced poor service at this pharmacy so transferred to the other Darnall weldricks. Its almost as if the workers at this pharmacy think they can be rude due to the demographic that they serve unfortunaley.
