I purchased cake slices from here and, once home, noticed they were very dry and stale. On closer inspection, one slice had visible mould (photos attached). I contacted the shop immediately and was asked to return so the manager could see the cakes, which I did promptly. Despite the slices coming from the same cake, I was only offered a refund for the single mouldy slice. As I no longer felt comfortable consuming any of the food due to concerns about freshness and storage, I requested a refund for both slices, which was refused. When I stated that I would be leaving an honest review about my experience, I was then told no refund would be given at all. I left the shop without the cakes and without a refund. This was the worst customer service I have experienced to date. While I handled the situation calmly, the approach taken felt unprofessional and unnecessarily confrontational over a very small amount of money. My concern is that this manner of handling issues could discourage or pressure other customers who may feel less confident challenging it. I would advise customers to check items carefully before leaving the shop.

The way always the food served and presented were fabulous and the freshness made ours mouth watered always !strongly recommend and determined to come!
