Fantastic sewing machines and lots of fabrics. The shop only looks small from the front but it’s so big inside. It has everything you could possibly want to sew with. The staff have a huge wealth of knowledge and are most approachable. They also hold classes and repair machines. My pfaff had to be repaired I thought, it turned out it just needed a really good service. Thank you so much for all your help. 5 Stars most definitely 🙂👍

Excellent knowledge of all the machines they sell. Excellent service. Excellent courses available on each machine. Excellent selection of fabric/accessories/cotton etc Excellent in every possible way. Highly recommend 👌

Our friend recommended this shop when we were looking for a fabric shop. Wow, 2 lovely ladies, both very helpful and know their stuff. Good quality fabrics in a variety of weights, styles, colours and fibre contents. Buttons, ribbon, threads, etc. Some kits available and a good variety of machines. Will definitely be visiting on a regular basis.

After researching the internet to find a sewing/embroidery machine that would 'spark my creativity'. I watched a lot of videos on the Pfaff Creative models & saw the Pfaff Creative Performance 4.5. Armed with this information I took myself off to Direct Shop & Sew. I have been coming here for years & there's always something of interest here. Whether it be sewing patterns, beatiful fabrics, sewing/craft accessories, sewing classes, beautiful machines or beautifully hand crafted items that adorn their walls.....& parking.....it's lovely!!! I spoke with Pauline & told her my 'dilemma'...she demonstrated the beautiful Creative Performance Icon 2 to give me an idea of what 'Pfaff' was like, advised me & I traded in my Husqvarna Topaz 40. I eventually left happy with an order of purchase for a Pfaff Creative Performance 950. I returned a week or 2 later & put an order in to purchase the Horn "Tasman" sewing cabinet from the shop. They were both delivered very quickly from ordering. ..."Thanks again Ladies for your efficiency & professionalism in getting the machine in my car"🥰 I have been coming here for years & always leave smiling. The staff deliver excellent customer service, very knowledgeable & welcoming.
