Late Shopper

Rude owner, not helpful, makes you feel like you're not welcome. At the end of the day, it's us customers that keep that shop going, and a customer service course is desperately needed!

Positive updated review: January 2022. Pleased to say that I am shopping here once again. Precautions ate been taken when I visited and the staff member was very polite and efficient. I would like express my gratitude. Previous review This shop on the whole has provided a good standard of service through the pandemic, but unfortunately this evening (12/06/21 22.00), I was NOT impressed with safety for myself in this small store.  When I arrived, one elderly man was leaving with no facial covering on.  I had both cleansed hands and worn a facial covering, as per regulations and because I am considerate not selfish and also a health professional, so know for the past 15 months what this area has gone through and witnessed those selfish people putting other's at potential risk. Complacency has been with us for ages and that is why while I was "trapped"  in the shop SEVEN guys came in, only one of whom was wearing a covering.  Only TWO people should be in the shop at any one time, as per notice, but NOW ignored and not enforced.  The individuals were not dealt with by either of the two shop keepers.  I exclaimed that I don't know why "We" have bothered over the past 15 months when confronted by people like this who just do not care ...ignorant, selfish people.  I was glad to leave the shop. It will happen again to me at this shop because presently I will not be returning.

Good friendly local service. The shop has loads to offer from fresh and frozen tinned and general essentials also a good range of alcohol. The shop is always well stocked too
