What an absolutely brilliant find. On holiday with the hubby and wild child and after a long day of exploring the gorgeous countryside around Skipton we craved good beer and good food and boy did The Castle Inn deliver. Fantastic specials board, fab food, really nice beer selection and our chip tester is approving as well
Lovely and atmospheric pub. Has a huge menu filled with delicious food, we really enjoyed our dinner here. High quality homemade food that is well prepared, we absolutely loved it.
Decent selection of beers and a great sun-trap out back with plenty of outdoor seating. There are a few pool tables and a big screen for the sport, so it’s got a good buzz to it. It was a bit loud and lively when we dropped in as there was a big group of lads around the pool table, but it was still a good atmosphere overall. We just stayed for one drink and shared a couple of portions of fries, which hit the spot.
Great place for a drink after exploring the town, woods & canal area. Lovely friendly attentive staff who even sorted our Uber taxi for us. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy a few drinks while people watching. Definitely worth a visit to this old quirky Inn situated in the middle of Skipton.
Frist time here after been to Skipton lots of times, friendly staff and good food, when the weather is good get a pint in the beer garden and enjoy
